We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to provide team support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Management Team with construction and implementation of energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology projects in retail, commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

  • Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Project Managers.

  • Attend and participate in weekly construction meetings at various project site locations.

  • Organize and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence including RFI's, submittals, reports, etc.

  • Assist with issuing bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules.

  • Prepare spreadsheets, analyze proposals, and conduct project review meetings.

  • Collaborate with internal functions to prepare and maintain all forms of reports, presentations, documentation, and related project material.

  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and regulatory safety, standards, practices, and codes.

  • Observe vendors and subcontractors onsite while providing technical support.

  • Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties.

  • Ability to travel as required. Could be up to 50% depending on project needs.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in construction management or related engineering discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • Exposure to large scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retrofits involving institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyst quantitative data and information.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project.

  • Proficiency in Procore or other PM software.

  • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks.

  • Valid Driver's License issued by state of residence and in good standing is required.

  • OSHA 30 certification at time of hire is preferred.

  • CPR and Blood Born Pathogens Certification at time of hire is preferred.
