3rd Shift Machine Operator $19.44/hour**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for our 3rd shift to work on a grinding and straightening line. The role involves using screw conveyor and auger type machinery with the objective of straightening out shafts through grinding. You will work independently or alongside a small team to achieve position requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and manage screw conveyor/auger type machinery.
+ Straighten shafts using grinding techniques.
+ Collaborate with team members on the grinding and straightening line.
+ Maintain the operation of machinery during 10-hour shifts.
+ Ensure safe and efficient production processes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial work.
+ Strong machine operation skills.
+ Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
+ Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts.
+ Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience working with steel and accustomed to dirty environments.
+ Mechanical inclination with potential to learn CNC operations.
+ Stable work history.

The position is on the 3rd shift, running Monday night to Thursday night, with 10-hour shifts from 9 PM to 7 AM. Employees are provided with steel toe (metatarsal) boots, and the attire includes jeans or work pants, long sleeves, or t-shirts with sleeve guards. Ear and eye protection are required.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.44/hr.
