Manufacturing Estimator**
**Pay: $26-$28**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Cost Estimator to develop detailed project plans and cost estimates while working closely with our machinists and production team. You will be responsible for verifying production procedures, ensuring material accuracy, and monitoring project costs to maintain budget control. This role requires excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide updates on project progress.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop detailed project plans and cost estimates based on project specifications.
+ Collaborate with machinists and production team members in stamping and injection molding to verify production procedures and material requirements.
+ Read and interpret prints and engineering drawings to determine necessary materials and dimensions.
+ Work closely with the plant manager to ensure accuracy in customer requirements.
+ Utilize Excel for tracking project materials and costs.
+ Engage in customer interactions to support the plant manager and provide project updates.
+ Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to maintain budget control.
+ Prepare reports and presentations for management review.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
+ Experience with computer documentation, including Excel and ERP systems.
+ Ability to interact with customers for quoting and project updates.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with CNC machine operations, stamping operations, and injection molding is a plus.

Our small manufacturing shop, consisting of 15 employees, provides a clean, relaxed, and collaborative work environment. We specialize in CNC machining, stamping, and injection molding, with first shift hours from 7am to 3:30pm, and summer hours from 6am to 2:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middlefield, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
