The Commercial Roofing Service Foreman is responsible for overseeing and executing roof service and repair projects on commercial properties. This includes leading a crew of technicians, managing job site operations, ensuring quality workmanship, promoting safety compliance, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will be an experienced roofer with leadership ability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and work alongside service technicians on commercial roofing service calls and repairs

Interpret service work orders and ensure all tasks are completed according to scope

Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on various commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, Modified Bitumen, and Metal

Troubleshoot and diagnose roof leaks and other issues effectively

Ensure job site safety protocols are followed and all OSHA standards are met

Communicate professionally with building owners, property managers, and internal teams

Train and mentor crew members to develop skills and maintain performance standards

Complete accurate and timely reports, including job logs, photos, and material usage

Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company vehicles

Coordinate with the service coordinator or project manager regarding scheduling and materials

Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of commercial roofing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or foreman role

Knowledge of Roofing Systems: Proficiency in single-ply systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC) required; additional systems a plus

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining production and safety standards

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills

Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license with clean driving record required; OSHA 10/30 and First Aid/CPR preferred

Work Conditions: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying weather conditions, and perform tasks at heights for extended periods
