Minimum Position Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and five (5) years of appropriate experience. Must have Shelby County Backflow Preventer Certification or obtain within 6 months from date of hire. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Must be able to work after normal business hours to respond to occasional emergency situations when necessary.

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and push or pull up to 250 pounds with appropriate tools or moving equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and humid conditions, fumes and airborne particles, close spaces and is required to climb ladders to access equipment in high and/or precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
