This role involves fabricating and welding structural components according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG and/or TIG welding, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment. Reporting directly to the Assembly Supervisor, this position is based in Millington, Maryland. Competitive Compensation: $20-24 based on experience WHAT YOU'LL DO + Weld structural components and assemblies using MIG welding techniques. + Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and mechanical drawings. + Set up and operate welding machines and tools as needed. + Perform layout, fitting, and tack welding of structural components. + Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications. + Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area. + Assist with material handling, cutting, grinding, and other fabrication tasks as needed. + Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality control staff. + Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR + High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or welding certification preferred. + 2+ years of structural welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting. + Proficient with MIG and/or TIG welding; Stick welding experience a plus. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding blueprints. + Familiar with welding codes, standards, and inspection requirements. + Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods. + Strong work ethic and reliability.
