Seeking out-of-the-box Project Engineer who can take a napkin sketch and turn it into a functional product; managing the process from design, prototyping, sourcing of vendors, validation and hand-off to production team.
Shall:
*** Analyze customer requirements and oversee projects from concept through production.
*** Investigate and propose new injection molding and technologies.
*** Maintain and improve injection molding production lines.
*** Innitiate programs to reduce costs, improve material flow, expand capacity and continuously improve.
*** Coach, mentor and train technical staff.
Requirements:
*** BS degree in engineering or similar.
*** Hands-on knowledge of injection molding process and tooling.
*** Knowledge of lean methodologies.
