Asbestos Supervisor Job Description The Asbestos Supervisor will oversee and manage asbestos abatement projects, ensuring compliance with government and other regulatory agencies. This role requires comprehensive experience in all phases of asbestos abatement, from initial containment to final clearance. Responsibilities Supervise asbestos abatement projects to ensure safe and efficient execution. Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and government standards. Coordinate and lead the team through all stages of asbestos removal and containment. Conduct asbestos inspections and manage asbestos removal processes. Provide in-house training to update and renew expired certifications. Travel locally within the assigned region and occasionally out of state for project needs. Participate in construction field restoration and industrial cleaning activities. Essential Skills Construction experience and understanding of environmental regulations. Certified Asbestos Supervisor: AHERA 40-hour certification for supervisors. 2-3 years of experience as an Asbestos Foreman. California Driver's License. OSHA 10/30 certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications Hazwoper 40 and Lead abatement certifications are a plus. Experience in lead abatement, restoration, or industrial cleaning is beneficial.
