Forklift Mechanic

Forklift Mechanic 2nd shift pay 20- 22 Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. (1 year of experience minimum) Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on forklifts, including gas, diesel, and electric models. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems. Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs. Order and replace parts as needed. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs as needed. Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure minimal downtime. Essential Skills Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. Experience with forklift repair and maintenance. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Familiarity with diesel and heavy equipment repair. Ability to perform preventive maintenance. Skill in maintenance repair and electrical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Caterpillar equipment. Understanding of maintenance technician protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of City Of Industry, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
