The Certified Welder I is a skilled level positionresponsible for performing simple, routine, and repetitive tasks usingstandard welding procedures, tools, materials, machines, and equipment;ability to weld metal using stick, MIG, TIG, cutting with torch andplasma.\**Responsibilities**\Fully understand and support Xanterra\'s Mission Statement and CoreValues.\Read and interpret blueprints, working drawings, and sketches,performing accurate math calculations and layouts.\performs simple, routine, and repetitive tasks using standard weldingprocedures, tools, materials, machines, and equipment\Works in confined spaces and standing for extended periods.\Operates machinery and tools, using required safety equipment and PPE,including various forms of respirators and eye protection.\Cleans equipment and work area using proper materials, and followsenvironmental policy and procedure concerning proper disposal ofhazardous waste materials and SDS Sheets.\Follows instructions, responds to management direction, takesresponsibility for own actions, and keeps commitments.\Other duties as assigned
