Experienced Excavator Operator - Underground Utilities About the Role We're looking for a skilled Excavator Operator to join our high-performing team specializing in underground wet utilitieswater, sewer, and storm systems. What You'll Do Operate heavy equipment with precision and care, including ditching, trenching, hoisting, and earth-moving machinery. Start, inspect, and shut down machines according to safety protocols. Read and set grades and elevations accurately. Identify soil types and moisture content to ensure proper excavation techniques. Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections. Communicate effectively using standard construction hand signals. Support the team with related tasks as needed. What You Bring Minimum 2 years of excavator operation experience. Proficiency with Cat and Komatsu 138 and 335 models. Strong understanding of job site safety and equipment protocols. Ability to interpret and respond to hand signals on-site. Bonus Skills Experience with additional equipment: dozer, backhoe, skid steer, and loader. Valid driver's license. Why Join Us?
