Responsibilities Lead technical aspects of HV/EHV substation design, including developing single line diagrams and physical layouts. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder communications. Oversee specifications, vendor evaluations, and technical change management. Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and project managers, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Lead reviews, support proposal development, and define engineering processes. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering. At least 10 years of experience in HV/EHV substation design. PE license in the US, willing to review and seal drawings. Willingness to travel up to 20%, including internationally. Preferred Characteristics Proficiency with CAD, 3D modeling, and automation tools. Experience with HVDC, FACTS, GIS, AIS, and power system studies. Knowledge of IEEE, ANSI standards, and field testing experience. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and standards development skills. Compensation & Benefits Salary ranges from $131,700 to $219,300 annually, plus performance bonuses.
