Location -- Remote: North New Jersey Duration -- 6 months (Possibility of Extension) No Master's Degree Candidates Work experience performing electric distribution design engineering, either in a consulting environment for electric utilities or working directly at an electric utility; Senior-Level: 4+ years of relevant experience A bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution will be preferred, but relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree Experience with the execution of distribution projects from kickoff through design approval, including Customer interaction and Process documentation Experience with utility reliability projects Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the NESC Ability to utilize a personal vehicle, as some customer-related travel could be anticipated (Job-related travel will be reimbursed at IRS-approved rates) Willingness to perform both field and office work; Ability to work in outdoor environments on occasion; The role may require customer-site visits to collect field data that will assist in developing work packages Candidates should possess a valid U.S. driver's license, as some local or regional travel is expected Nice to Have: Previous QAQC experience Experience providing estimated costs, developing a BOM, and calculating the CIAC Experience with design tools such as Pole Foreman, O-Calc, Spida-Calc Experience with the Work Management System CREWS 1 year or more of Relevant management or leadership experience Relevant experience with the utility FirstEnergy, or its subsidiaries PDN-9f21daa0-5aa9-4c46-a343-0efc58932fae
