Our efforts help to support independent living for our customers. Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Sales Estimator to join our team. This role involves evaluating residential projects of all kinds, providing estimates for accessibility modifications (such as ramps, grab bars, walk-in showers and tubs, stairlifts, elevators, VPL's ceiling lifts etc.), as well as other essential or requested repairs or handyman work. You will be the trusted advisor to customers and families seeking safe and affordable solutions. The right applicant will also be asked to assist in the management of ongoing projects as well as getting new projects ready for start by assisting with material ordering and sub-contractor coordination. There will be opportunities to grow with our organization as we look to expand our proven business model to other market areas. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct on-site evaluations to assess customer needs and project scope. * Develop and deliver detailed written estimates for accessibility upgrades and home repairs. * Provide guidance and recommendations on safety enhancements tailored to client mobility needs. * Collaborate with home owners, project managers, The company technicians, sub-contractors, non-profit and governmental agency points of contact and occupational therapists when needed. * Maintain accurate documentation of estimates and communicate with clients throughout the sales process. Build rapport with customers, ensuring sensitivity and respect for individual circumstances. Assist with overall day to day management of the operation as assigned to include project management. Help leadership with management duties during scheduled absences Requirements: * Proven experience in estimating, sales, or project coordination in home improvement, construction, or accessibility services. * Knowledge of ADA guidelines and home safety standards for seniors and people with disabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have the ability to lead and work alongside a Team of skilled professionals in service to those that trust us in their homes. Working knowledge of spreadsheets and documents (Excel & Word or equivalent software ) The ability to master our ERP system Striven, so we can better serve our customers. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/priorities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel. Be able to pass a thorough back ground and driver history check Willingness to learn and grow to prepare for greater responsibility within the organization. Preferred Qualifications: Hands on experience in all phases of home improvement or accessibility modifications Background in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or related healthcare field a plus. Familiarity with aging-in-place and universal design principles. CAPS or other Age-In-Place certifications would be an added benefit * Experience working with Medicaid waiver programs, other assistance from local municipalities or nonprofit agencies a bonus.
