Job Responsibilities: Ductwork Installation & Repair - Measure, cut, and assemble duct systems according to project specifications. Furnace Assistance - Help with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of furnaces, including gas, electric systems. Refrigeration & Cooling Systems - Assist in handling air conditioning systems. Electrical Work - Support in wiring HVAC units, connecting thermostats, and troubleshooting control systems. Ventilation Systems - Work with air handlers, dampers, and filtration systems to ensure proper airflow. Tool & Equipment Handling - Use gauges, multimeters, and power tools safely and efficiently. Safety Compliance - Follow HVAC safety guidelines, including proper handling of refrigerants and electrical work. Expected Knowledge & Skills: Basic understanding of HVAC principles, including heat transfer, pressure systems, and airflow. Familiarity with HVAC components such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems. Ability to use tools like pipe benders, vacuum pumps, leak detectors, and multimeters.
