Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Baton Rouge office team. Position Type: Full Time Location: Baton Rouge, LA Work Environment: Office Physical Demands: Occasional Site Visits Travel Requirements: Regularly Essential Functions: Provide regional support to the Keystone Business Development Corporate Team supporting new and existing clients for our Baton Rouge, Louisiana Engineering Office. Promote the full range of services offered through Keystone Engineering & Affiliate Companies. Focus on the multi-discipline consulting engineering services market utilized by clients in the downstream petrochemical manufacturing and mid-stream oil & gas sectors. Represent Keystone in business and project delivery matters with the utmost integrity. Learn what makes Keystone a great company to work for and the skills & experience that we can provide across a wide range of projects. Instill confidence with our clients that we take pride in our work and relationships. Learn and represent the scale of projects, where we are effective and how collaboration within the organization can tap additional resources for larger pursuits. Provide stewardship of business opportunity tracking and bench marking performance progress toward meeting revenue goals. Be able to host and conduct informative service presentations to clients and colleagues. Lead and participate in events that give Keystone spotlight opportunities in fund raising events, professional associations, and business networking. Be socially astute and able to host clients in opportunities that include business entertainment in multiple settings. Build strong client relationships and advise Management Team of feedback necessary for improving the customer experience. Be proactive and stay informed on business trends to understand changing needs. Maintain a professional image and represent Keystone with pride. Be knowledgeable of Keystone core values and lead by example. Be willing to travel locally and regionally to seek new relationships and maintain existing clients. Aid in proposal submissions and RFI responses. Requirements: BS in Marketing or Engineering degree. 5+ years of marketing experience in industrial services, preferably from the consulting engineering field. Have a technical aptitude to understand project management and engineering & construction terminology. Previous background in project management and/or technical engineering positions helpful. Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced motivation, organized, and solution advocate Attention to detail Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
