Estimator in Santa Rosa,CA,US

We're seeking an experienced Estimator who can accurately interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFQs to prepare detailed, competitive bids for steel fabrication and erection projects. This is a key role in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, with opportunities for growth as the company scales. Responsibilities: Review project plans, drawings, and specs to prepare takeoffs and cost estimates Generate material, labor, and equipment pricing for structural steel and ornamental iron projects Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes Coordinate with project managers and shop personnel for constructability input Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed Track bid results and maintain estimating logs Qualifications: 3+ years of estimating experience in structural steel and/or ornamental iron (preferred) Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and shop drawings Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel, EPM, or similar) Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines Why Join Us?
