Join Our Team as a Cable Installer (Training Available)

Are you experienced in Fiber, Copper, Satellite, or Cable TV installations? As an independent contractor (1099) with Triage Partners, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge telecommunications projects in Grand Rapids, MI. Multiple positions are available in this location.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Install and repair telecommunications equipment focusing on fiber optics and fiber splicing
• Conduct FTTH installations and drop work
• Adhere to safety practices and procedures
• Coordinate with teams to complete assignments and meet service objectives
• Maintain a professional image and promote company products
• Perform physically demanding tasks, work at heights, and in various weather conditions
• Utilize computer systems for job assignments and documentation

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Technicians for this role must have a truck or Van either white, black, silver, etc.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel, a hard hat, a reflective safety vest, a fall resistor, and safety cones
• Must be available to work flexible hours (Fulltime work week) 

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to work various in conditions, including working in attics, crawl spaces, and in adverse weather conditions.
• Physical ability to work from a kneeling or standing position for long periods
• Physical ability to climb ladders with proper equipment (safety belt, safety strap, hard hat, and other equipment as needed).
• Able to lift and carry loads up to 75lbs including ladder
