Experienced Mason's apprentice / or experienced Brick layer
- Johns Island, South Carolina
- Full Time
Good morning
The Brick Doctor here... I am looking for someone to work with me from time to time , usually a couple days a week at least, to execute masonry repair work for various clients in the Charleston area. I am semi-retired and would really like to establish a good working relationship with someone I could train in masonry repair to take over my business at some point in the future.
I do a variety of scopes of work, cutting brick out for windows and doors to be added , repairing mortar in steps, fixing cracked brick due to settling, matching mortar color, repairing concrete and on and on. I will also take on carpentry jobs from time to time. Most all of my jobs are one or two days long and we don't engage in any large scale new construction jobs. I can stay plenty busy with repair work! Must be able to lift heavy stuff, climb scaffold, use a cut off saw, etc... you know masonry stuff. !
I try not to work full weeks but sometimes I do , I try to keep it to a 4 day week. The pay is good and the work usually not too hard.
Please respond with a couple of trade references and a contact number. You MUST have a working vehicle, a valid license and speak English Sorry No Hispaniola.
