Project Engineer

Job Duties: Inspect task execution to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Monitor contract implementation, as well as the quality of work and materials. Track contractual changes and report them to the Project Manager. Manage submittals and shop drawings. Oversee the close-out process and prepare final project records, including Requests for Information (RFIs), close-out records, warranties, as-builts, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, attic stock, and spare parts. Evaluate the information to ensure compliance with contract documents. Assist in managing various aspects of communication, including the submission and response to Requests for Information (RFIs). Assist in the development of project status reports. Research and resolve issues related to drawing interpretations, problems, and errors. Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications. Maintain a strong knowledge of the contract specifications, documents, scope of work, and subcontracts. Prepare Scope of Work documents for subcontractor trades. Conduct surveys and project layout according to the contract drawings. Attend field meetings with architects and other technical staff to discuss design issues. Perform detailed cost estimation for multiple projects to support competitive bidding and accurate scope assessment.Job Requirements: Required Masters or foreign equivalent in Construction Engineering and Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or any related field. Travel may be required to various unanticipated client sites throughout the US. The frequency of travel will be 10-15%.

Maximum Salary: 98,138.00
