Production Hand Welders
1st & 2nd Shift
Starting pay rate: $20.10 + $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd Shift
Performs duties required to inspect and repair welds (Mig) on automotive parts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform 100% visual inspection on all welds.
- Repair any welds that do not meet specifications.
- Tap required nuts for spatter removal.
- Inspects parts for quality concerns.
- Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor.
- Conducts machine operation and safety checks on prescribed intervals.
- Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).
- Other duties as assigned to maintain production.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED preferred
- Follow all safety requirements of the company -- PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, weld sleeves) safe job behaviors, etc.
- Able to read and understand operation standards and job instructions.
- Able use basic tools.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas.
F&P America Manufacturing offers competitive wages with pay increases every 6 months. Additional eligible pay includes attendance and work performance bonuses.
