As a**Fabricator I**at P.G. Adams, you will train with and be supported

by other team members while working collaboratively and individually

toward overarching production/business goals.

**Qualifications:**

? High school diploma or equivalent.

? Strong math skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and basic geometry.

? Accurately read tape measure to 1/32, understand instructions, and

interpret basic drawings.

? The strongest candidates will possess knowledge of machines (CNC &

mechanical) and tools commonly used in steel fabrication, and

proficiency with overhead cranes and forklift.***However, we recognize

succeed in these Core Job Duties:**

- Set up and operate CNC plasma table including most efficient use of

machine and materials.

- Rig, load & unload material with overhead cranes & forklift.

- Assist with press brake operation under the supervision of equipment

operator.

- Operate a variety of steel fabricating tools including grinders,

torch, ironworker.

- Quality control of own work as well as final quality control of

product.

- Packaging with pneumatic bander.

- Help troubleshoot and prevent equipment problems.

- Conduct pre-operation equipment safety check & participate in

equipment preventive maintenance.

- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

- Identify opportunities for improving the work and actively

participate in implementing solutions.

- General duties as required to support the needs of the business.
