**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Deck Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience constructing residential or commercial decks using wood, composite, and other materials. This role involves reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, installing framing and decking, and ensuring all work meets building codes and safety standards.

### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Construct new decks and repair or replace existing ones
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, or job layouts
- Measure, cut, and assemble framing and decking materials with precision
- Install footings, posts, joists, beams, deck boards, railings, and stairs
- Ensure structures are level, square, and meet all code requirements
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Work as part of a team or independently depending on the project
- Communicate with supervisors, homeowners, or contractors as needed
- Follow company and OSHA safety procedures at all times

### **Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a deck builder or carpenter
- Strong knowledge of framing, carpentry, and general construction techniques
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and plans accurately
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work at heights
- Basic knowledge of building codes and safety standards
- Reliable transportation and basic tool set required
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred

- Outdoor construction sites
- Physically demanding work requiring lifting, kneeling, and standing for long periods
