Position Summary:

The CAD Technician primary function is to produce various drawings, computations and reports using AutoCAD, Civil3D and MS Office. Typical projects include concept drawings, exhibits, full sets of construction plans and as-built drawings. You are responsible for meeting project schedules as assigned by your supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with design team to prepare and revise various engineering products using C3D
  • Prepare spreadsheets and word documents
  • Follow company QA/QC policies and procedures
  • Complete required training classes/videos/information
  • Work closely with supervisor to meet assigned schedules
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent
  • Knowledge of mathematics through algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency in current versions of MS Office
  • Strong organizational ability, verbal and written communication skills
  • Great attitude and a desire to grow professionally

Work requirements:

  • May require the ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and manipulate (carry, lift, move) light to medium weights of 10-30 pounds.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate technical equipment, read technical information and to analyze complex data.
  • Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work- related errands or to attend meetings may be required.
