Description:

AmeriStaff Employment & Staffing Solutions is recruiting for a General Laborer for a company in Halifax, VA. This position will be responsible for bolting and unbolting metal panels on silos and other fixtures. The ideal candidate should have experience working with basic hand tools.

Benefits of the General Laborer:

Day shift

7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Thursday

7:00am - 3:00pm on Friday

Overtime available

$24.00 per hour

Responsibility of the General Laborer:

Will be ascending in lifts and scaffolding to reach panels

Will be utilizing all safety harnesses and tethers

Will use impact wrenches and other basic hand tools

Requirements:

Requirements of the General Laborer:

Must not have a fear of heights

Ability to use hand tools and impact wrenches

Steel-toed shoes required

Willingness to learn new skills
