Seeking 1st Shift Laborer/Material Handler for manufacturer in Montgomery County, PA. Immediately interviewing & hiring! Job Description The primary focus will be on patch repair and preparation of products for delivery. Having any concrete and/or construction experience is preferred. Responsibilities Clean, prepare, and patch concrete products. Transport concrete products from the Production area to the Stockyard area. Operate oxy/acetylene (natural gas) equipment. Utilize hand tools, drills, core drills, generators, drill press, and cut-off tools. Understand chain charts and lift capabilities of all chains and lifting bars. Load and offload fleet equipment according to paperwork from Dispatch and Stockyard Leader, as well as vendor equipment. Move truck tractor and flatbeds for proper loading. Operate the SMV loader and boom trucks for loading and unloading purposes. Maintain cleanliness in the work area and perform other housekeeping duties. Ensure consistent attendance. Essential Skills Experience with hand and power tools. Prior concrete labor or construction experience is preferred. Ability to read and follow directions and prints. Strong communication skills. Physical labor skills, including the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
