Hiring Maintenance Electricians**

**Pay** : up to 95k

**Shift:** Dupont Rotating Schedule

**Job Description**

As a Maintenance Electrician at an expert level, you will be responsible for performing maintenance repairs and troubleshooting a variety of electrical systems and components. This includes control panels, conveyor systems, pumps, sensors, relays, circuits, and mixing equipment, as well as diagnosing and maintaining furnace and accessory equipment for metal forging.

**Responsibilities**

+ Troubleshoot control panels, conveyor systems, pumps, sensors, relays, circuits, and mixing equipment.

+ Diagnose and maintain furnace and accessory equipment for forging metal.

+ Perform major electrical troubleshooting, including fault analysis with a multimeter, reading schematics, and hooking up motors.

+ Conduct minor fabrication tasks like tack welding small parts to aid mechanics.

+ Collaborate with the engineering team on up fitting projects.

+ Troubleshoot PLC systems and sensory equipment.

+ Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and wiring schematics.

+ Experience with automation and Allen Bradley PLC.

+ Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues within the plant.

+ Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, motors, control panels, sensors, relays, and circuits.

+ Skilled in diagnosing issues using blueprints and schematics.

+ Competence in preventive maintenance and repair.

+ Familiarity with Siemens PLC.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Any secondary schooling is beneficial but not required.

+ Candidates with a strong work history or a mechatronics degree have performed well in this role.

The work environment is a steel mill that processes recycled materials into building materials for the construction industry. The facility consists of large hangar-style buildings, which are temperate in the winter and hot in the summer due to the foundry. The equipment's size prevents climate control.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $95000.00/yr.
