This role is a hybrid position requiring both property video walkthroughs and light handyman work. Job Responsibilities: Visit properties for move-out inspections, rental turnovers, or pre-sale walkthroughs Take video walkthroughs using WhatsApp and follow a provided inspection checklist Note issues (repairs needed, damages, missing parts, etc.) and report to office Complete minor repairs such as installing smoke detectors, changing locks, patching holes, or minor trash removal when needed Maintain punctuality and clear communication with dispatch Submit all video and photo documentation same-day Requirements: Must live in or near Hickory, NC Must own a smartphone with WhatsApp for video uploads and messaging Must have reliable transportation Basic handyman tools (drill, screwdriver, patch kits, etc.) Must be able to follow instructions and document work thoroughly Clean, professional appearance; respectful of tenants and property managers Must be reliable Must download WhatsApp Preferred but Not Required: Experience as a handyman, field technician, or maintenance worker Familiarity with rental turnover work or inspection processes Ability to work flexible hours and respond to short-notice jobs Compensation: Pay based on job type and scope (inspection vs. light repair) 1099 subcontractor position - paid weekly Apply Now!
