HVAC Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to support our food-grade production facility. This role is ideal for a technician with hands-on experience in refrigeration cycles, control systems, and industrial environments. You'll play a key role in maintaining critical systems that ensure product quality, safety, and operational efficiency. This position is located in the Ocala Fl area and is looking to interview this week. **Key Responsibilities** + Install, maintain, and repair industrial HVAC/R systems including: + Chillers, boilers, air handlers, rooftop units (RTUs), and related equipment. + Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure system reliability. + Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. + Ensure all HVAC systems meet regulatory and safety standards, especially those relevant to food production (e.g., FDA, USDA, OSHA). + Monitor and adjust Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) for optimal energy efficiency and environmental control. + Collaborate with maintenance, production, and quality assurance teams to uphold food safety and sanitation protocols. + Maintain accurate records of service activities, work orders, and compliance documentation. **Pay and Shift:** + Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour + Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM + Employment Type: Full-Time **Required Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or HVAC certification preferred. + Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle and control systems. + Experience working in an industrial or food-grade production environment. + Proficiency in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools. + Familiarity with BAS/BMS systems and regulatory compliance standards. **Why Join us?** + Competitive hourly pay and consistent daytime schedule + Work in a clean, regulated, and safety-focused environment + Be part of a collaborative team that values quality and innovation + Opportunities for growth and technical development **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
