Industrial Mechanic

Industrial Mechanic Job Description We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure smooth and safe operations. You'll work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment and electrical components. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine effective solutions. Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines running at peak performance. Inspect motors, belts, drives, and fluid levels; replace filters and worn parts as needed. Replace or repair faulty components including motors, wiring, controls, and circuit boards. Disassemble equipment using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools to access and fix issues. Lubricate and clean machinery to ensure proper operation. Use a variety of tools to weld, cut, grease, and complete mechanical tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and parts catalogs. Operate production machines to assist with troubleshooting and performance evaluation. Take on additional duties as assigned to support maintenance operations. Essential Skills Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational certification preferred. Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical systems. Ability to read and follow safety procedures, maintenance instructions, and technical documents. Comfortable working in hot, cold, or dusty environments and using fall protection equipment. Physically able to lift up to 65 lbs, and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and climbing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $38.00/hr.
