What you'll do: Troubleshoot and repair basic and complex electrical issues. Install new lighting and electrical. Repair and maintain electrical in commercial and residential properties. Various Tasks: Troubleshoot breaker issues, contactor issues, underground breaks and other various electrical issues. EV and generator installs. Understand and interpret blueprints/schematics. Effectively communicates with customers as necessary Demonstrates ability to work without direct supervision Installs conduit systems, various lighting systems, and basic control systems Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles Consistently follows workplace safety procedures Works as a member of a team with a positive attitude Requirements for consideration: Journeyman's Card Basic hand tools Valid driver's license Clean criminal background Reliable transportation Able to operate aerial platforms such as boom lifts and scissor lifts Self-motivated, organized, and reliable, with positive attitude Understand and interpret written and verbal instructions Able to climb ladders, lift, and work in a variety of weather conditions Must be able to lift 50lbs, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks Must be able to work in various positions such as stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time Periodically available for emergency calls at any time OSHA 10 Card Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift License/Certification: Electrical License (Preferred) Work Location: Reno, Nevada and surrounding areas Company Description Have Lights Will Travel is Nevada's premier mobile lighting contractor.
