Need 4 Full time, Temporary, Seasonal Farmworkers/ Laborers to work in Argyle, MN. From: 08/01/2025 05/31/2026 Work: 45 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 9 hrs./day, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farm s operation. Must apply by: 12/31/2025 NOTE: Due to system rules, this job order will close before the recruitment period elapses on 12/31/2025, however a new job order will be created and posted for the remainder of the recruitment period. OVERTIME: As required in Minnesota, all work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) a year. JOB DUTIES: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, and storage of crops; Function loaders, augers, and conveyers for unloading grain trucks into storage facilities at harvest; Manually dump grain from grain trucks and semis with hopper bottom trailers during harvest; Grade grain and facilitate truck movement; Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, Clean work areas and maintain grounds; Drive vehicle to obtain parts and supplies; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Employer may, at the company's sole discretion, pay workers an hourly rate above the minimum required and/or offer a bonus, PTO, insurance, etc. to any seasonal worker employed pursuant to this job order depending on how many years of experience they have obtained by working for the employer or other factors such as work performance, skill, punctuality, licensing, training, prior work experience, etc. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
