Maintenance Mechanic Lead Job Description We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Lead to work in a food manufacturing environment. In this role, you will perform maintenance on production equipment, including engines, motors, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. You will also assist in supervising a team, ensuring adherence to the maintenance schedule, and may need to fabricate repair parts using a machine shop. Proficiency in electrical maintenance and the ability to read schematics and diagrams are essential. Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment. Supervise a team of 5-7 staff members, ensuring the maintenance schedule is followed. Conduct maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical maintenance and schematic reading. Experience in troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred. Background in maintenance and repair work. Why Work Here?
