Infinite Electronics is seeking a Cloud/Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support our enterprise with cloud migrations and operations. They will work closely with the provisioning and operations teams to design and implement Azure hybrid-cloud and cloud-native solutions utilizing Azure commercial infrastructure, platform, and IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offering. The engineer must have expertise with Microsoft Azure. Key Responsibilities + Develop solutions integrating Microsoft Azure cloud with services hosted on-premise + Define and implement Azure cloud-based solution architectures + Help monitor Azure cloud-based systems for availability, performance, reliability, security, etc. using tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Trusted Advisor, Science Logic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar + Utilize automation tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, Ansible, or similar + Assist with upgrading, installing, and configuring monitoring solutions for Azure IaaS Windows and Linux servers as well as PaaS services like Azure SQL + Install operating systems and application software in cloud compute environments + Maintain cloud network configurations and network diagrams + Report on current infrastructure status and planning for future usage + Help automate policies using Azure Policies, Turbot, or similar + Advise on cost optimization for current infrastructure + Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security and Application Development teams + Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives + Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security + Identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues + Regularly review existing systems and provide improvement recommendations Required Qualifications + A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience + Bachelor's degree in CS, EE or other engineering/technical discipline is required (5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education) + Experience implementing, migrating, managing, and operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment + Subject matter expertise with Microsoft Azure Preferred Qualifications + Demonstrated expertise in Azure cloud technologies and services + One or more Azure cloud certifications + Experience implementing secure and scalable Azure cloud architectures + Azure PowerShell or similar scripting experience + Experience implementing and managing DevOps pipelines for cloud-based workloads + Experience designing and developing Azure computing infrastructure, data implementation, networking implementation, security and identity solutions, and solutions by using Azure platform services + History of performing hands-on Azure work to solve complex technical problems
