Operations Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and coordinate operational requirements, mange these effectively to provide a timely, cost effective quality service;
Supervise all aspects of Depot operations in a cost effective manner and operate continually within approved expenditure and management policies;
Identify customer requirements and communicate/coordinate with the Service MGR in order to provide a timely, cost efficient and quality service;
Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met;
Directs and coordinates with the Service MGR the resolution of operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays;
Maintain positive customer relationships; Develop and implement a weekly on call rotation roster with Service MGR and Project Leads to ensure proper distribution of on call service responsibilities.
Responsible for all Quality, HSEQ, and DOT compliance within assigned Depot;
Supports the Project managers by ensuring all operational personnel adhere to purchasing, material inventory issuing and receiving guidelines;
Ensure adherence to all rules, regulations, procedures, policies, and the accompanying administrative (paperwork) processes associated with each;
Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations; to include review and approval of employee timesheets, preparation and maintaining of Project schedules, delivery tickets, etc.
Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures;
Oversees rental equipment fleet repair, service and maintenance, develops with Project Leads SOW's for all repairs and modifications and ensures accuracy and end of project review of same, ensures all equipment deployed meets rent ready status, communicates with GOA admin to ensure that true equipment status is accurately represented in OPUS and all assets assigned to the district are accounted for
Ensures facility and equipment assigned to the Depot is maintained in good repair and in a neat and orderly fashion in the yard
Ensures and oversees all manufacturing projects are completed on time and in budget through coordination with Project leads in each Dept.
Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department;

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Minimum five years related experience and/or training, preferably in the oil and gas industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
Knowledge of Budgeting.
Knowledge of Current practices, equipment, and technology used in onsite accommodations and auxiliary equipment for the oil and gas industry.
Exemplary and ethical business practices.
Industrial and commercial building construction experience.
Understanding of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Requirements on job locations e.g. PPE required.
Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Determining and managing necessary resources, time and materials of a project.
Forecasting necessary project resources.
