Finish Carpenter

Our well established client in Huntington, WV is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-end carpentry, with a strong eye for precision and craftsmanship. As a finish carpenter, you will be responsible for the final touches that bring a space together, including installing trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, and other fine woodwork.

• Measure, cut, and install trim, baseboards, crown molding, window casings, and door frames

• Build and install custom cabinetry, shelving, and other woodwork elements

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders

• Ensure all work is level, aligned, and matches design specifications

• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Sand, stain, or paint wood surfaces as needed

• Collaborate with contractors, designers, and clients to ensure quality results

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols

• Proven experience as a finish carpenter or similar role

• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials

• Ability to read technical documents and drawings

• Excellent measuring and math skills

• Attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship
