General Carpenter

We are looking for an experienced and skilled carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and the ability to produce high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities:

- Measure and cut wood and other materials to specified dimensions

- Assemble and install a variety of structures and fixtures using hand and power tools

- Install doors, windows, and other fixtures

- Finish surfaces using sanders, scrapers, and other tools

- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures

- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and meets building codes and regulations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a carpenter

- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans

- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finished products

- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time

- Valid state license (preferred)
