Project Manager

Managing multiple capital projects from concept, through engineering design, and into construction using a Principled phased gate approach that ensures the quality and competitive performance expected by stakeholders. Capital projects include scope such as replacing and modifying individual and groups of piping, pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, and mechanical safety equipment. Developing scope by understanding the technical challenges and potential solutions to meet project objectives. Leading a project team consisting of multiple capabilities including engineers, operations, construction, and vendors to ensure all aspects of the project are properly considered, including scope selection, safety, environmental, construction, operations, and reliability. Effectively managing costs and schedules to drive competitiveness and toward the best in the industry. Partnering with engineering, procurement, and construction capabilities to develop comprehensive project execution plans with a focus on technical scope, cost, schedule and risk management. Communicating capital project status and technical challenges to various stakeholders within the organization. Utilizing technical knowledge & experience to create value in a project management environment that ensures the quality and competitive performance expected by stakeholders.
