Contractors, LLC is growing! We are seeking a talented
**Superintendent/QC Manager/Site Safety and Health Officer (Triple
Hat)** to join our dynamic CCI UCS team, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay
Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH). This key role entails scheduling,
quality control, safety and occupational health management, monitoring,
assessments, safety site orientation, activity-specific education, and
assurance of compliance.
**This position is based in Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME.**
**Responsibilities**
- Manage overall quality and production of work and conformance to
Contract Documents.
- Manage/maintain all necessary planning, direction, coordination, and
budgeting for project activities.
- Coordinate/communicate with the Project Manager daily.
- Coordinate/communicate with Owner as necessary.
- Manage subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, AHJ field
coordination, daily.
- Attend the pre-construction conference, pre-work meetings including
three phase inspection meetings.
- Manage/maintain weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Attend/participate in weekly Owner\'s meetings.
- Review and be knowledgeable of subcontractor\'s subcontracted scope
of work. Manage all coordination necessary to complete the scopes of
work and prevent extra work or lost time to the greatest extent
possible.
- Be familiar with the subcontractor\'s budget and cost structure.
- Review and be knowledgeable of the Baseline Project Schedule.
Provide input on dates, durations, and coordination, monthly.
- Prepare short-term detailed look ahead schedules, weekly.
- Request, prepare, and hold coordination meetings as necessary to
support the Project Schedule.
- Coordinate with the Subcontractors and Owner for progress billing,
monthly.
- Oversee quality control and safety programs.
- Manage deliveries, staging, loading, and unloading.
- Supervise equipment usage on site such as cranes or earth moving
equipment.
- Ensure project conformance to national and/or local building codes.
- Maintain accurate daily records.
- Perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance,
inspections, site safety orientation, activity-specific training and
enforcement
- Perform safety meetings
- Attend the pre-construction conference, pre-work meetings including
three phase inspection meetings
- Develop and review preconstruction safety submittals
- Review safety submittals for compliance
- Implement and enforce accepted Accident Prevention Plans
- Review, develop, and enforce subcontractor activity specific
Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA)
**Qualifications**
- Experience managing Federal Construction such as USACE (United state
Army Core of Engineers) Projects
- A minimum of 5 years safety work of a progressive nature
- 5 years of continuous construction industry safety experience in
supervising/managing general construction (managing safety programs
or processes or conducting hazard analyses and developing controls)
- 5 years of experience on similar projects with EM 385-1-1 work
experience
- EM385 1-1 40hr
- OSHA 30hr
- Experience with Procore
- Experience with RMS
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF
- As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a
pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and
background check results
**Physical Requirements**
This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see,
hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential
and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition
necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for
prolonged periods of ti e; frequent opportunity to move about and to
work outside the office environment for extended periods involving
exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat,
cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and
uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required,
must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
including but not limited to; hard hats, steel toed boots, eye
protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Must
maintain a constant state of mental alertness at all times. Reasonable

perform the essential functions.
**Working Conditions**
Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations.
The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires
