Skilled work requiring rough/finish carpentry in all phases of construction at the journey-level. Performs alterations, repair/maintenance of building floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, screens, concrete forms, wood fixtures, and furniture. Works from blueprints to order materials and fabricate major projects. Uses standard trade practices and all hand/bench/power-driven tools and machinery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of four (4) years of experience in the major elements of the trade that includes rough and finish carpentry.
PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE WITH: Reading blueprints/construction plans. Also desirable: Completion of an approved apprenticeship program in carpentry.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.
