Lead and grow a team of semi-dynamic, structural, electro-thermal & thermal analysis engineers within the Predictive Engineering Group (PEG). Guide a team to lead new technology development activities as well as apply them directly to influence product design and manufacturing activities through all development phases. Set clear expectations and create a positive, supportive, and inclusive work environment based on individual accountability. Align PEG's current and future capabilities with existing product strategies. Develop and implement predictive engineering-based procedures to enable the product design and manufacturing engineers to delivery products with confidence. Shorten development cycles and minimize program risks using physics-based analysis. Supervise development of documentation of the project scope, requirements, feasibility, and engineering workplan for the group's projects. Lead resolution of any scope issues. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Create and maintain engineering timelines, escalate barriers, and drive projects to completion. Assign resources, organize, develop, train, and recruit talents. Develop individual team members using Principle Based Management by aligning their career goals with business objective. Foster the growth of each team member's careers by assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, long-term goals, personalities, and work styles. Promote strong, effective communication and collaboration with our cross-functional, technical, and non-technical partners. Communicate technical knowledge and experimental findings in both written and verbal formats to peers, management, and customers in a concise and clear manner.

**Minimum Requirements:**

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in connector product design and development.

Must have three (3) years of experience in all the following:

- Solid mechanics, Fluid mechanics, Heat Transfer, Joule heating, Structural analysis, and Thermal management of electronic systems;

- High Fidelity FEA/CFD analysis using Hypermesh;

- Abaqus including Explicit;

- CFD packages such as Flo EFD or similar;

- CAD Packages such as NX or similar;

- DOE methods, Statistical Analysis, and Regression Modeling;

- Predictive engineering in CAE, FEA, CFD and Design Optimization; and

- Developing, validating, and implementing new technologies to existing product development process in the connector industry.

Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) days per week.

International travel required up to 20%. Domestic travel required up to 20%.
