Work on plant electrical distribution systems, PLCs, including motor controls, hydraulics, distribution panels, ducts, disconnects, and transformers. Handle complex machine control systems, including relay or solid-state logic. Determine sources of electrical problems and take corrective action. Ensure that electrical installations comply with applicable codes. Wear prescribed safety equipment and observe all safety policies. Utilize standard testing meters and instruments related to the position. Lift up to 60 lbs on a continuous basis. Required Skills & Qualifications State of Texas Master Electrician License. 4 - 6 years of previous industrial electrical experience. Working knowledge of 480V systems. Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot existing equipment. Proficiency in using standard electrical testing meters and instruments. Completion of pre-employment physical specific to the department. Completion of company orientation and safety training. Completion of the quality training program. Working Conditions Foundry environment with exposure to extreme temperatures. Full-time, on-site position. Fast-paced manufacturing setting with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Exposure to high noise levels. Exposure to dirt and fumes. Additional Information High school diploma or GED preferred. Electrician License required. Pay Rate: $38.00 to $40.00 Hr.
