POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing wayfinding & signage projects from initial conceptual planning through implementation. This role supports the Senior Manager in daily operations and strategic execution while ensuring alignment across departments for timely, accurate, and brand-compliant signage updates. The Project Manager oversees the full signage project lifecycleincluding budgeting, scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder communicationand plays a key role in design development, construction integration, and process improvements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in project management, environmental/graphic design, facilities planning, architecture, or related field and 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience. Previous project management experience, preferably in signage, wayfinding, graphics, or facilities planning is preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder communications
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
Excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project), and familiarity with design software is a plus.
Understanding of signage systems, materials, ADA compliance, and construction processes preferred.
Ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives within a multi-modal campus.
Experience in problem solving, decision making, negotiations and conflict resolution skills to effectively reach sound conclusions and recommendations for wayfinding, signage and placemaking concept & design process
Ability to coordinate wayfinding projects with other departments, outside consultants and contractors, and governmental agencies to meet GOAA's wayfinding standards
Excellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skills, to work with a diverse, multi-cultural staff
Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
