Maintains highways and facilities through activities such as repairs,
resurfacing, mowing, and snow and ice control.
This position is a member of a sub-area crew, which normally maintains
all KDOT facilities in an approximate one county area
and when needed maintains other KDOT facilities in other counties within
the State of Kansas. Duties include operation of light
and medium duty equipment regularly and heavy equipment occasionally as
necessary. Duties include performing a variety of
manual labor type tasks.
