Tig Welder

Currently seeking experienced welders for a 30-day project with one of our clients that are located in Fayetteville, TN. Candidates must have prior welding experience and be able to interpret blueprints. Candidates will use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. Candidates that are interested in this opportunity will need to be able to pass a Tig welding test to be considered. The schedule for this position will be Mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm. Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers
• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
• Develop templates and models for welding projects using mathematical calculations based on blueprint information

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 35lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
