CAD Technician/Drafter

Responsibilities

Create and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit under the direction of electrical engineers and designers.

Assist in the preparation of electrical plans, layouts, and details for a variety of projects (power distribution, lighting, control systems, and more).

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards.

Organize and maintain CAD files and documentation.

Learn and apply company and industry CAD standards, procedures, and practices.

Basic Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit or MicroStation is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship or academic experience in electrical drafting or related field.

Basic understanding of electrical systems and symbols.

Knowledge of construction documentation or engineering workflows.
