Civil Project Engineer

Job Description

Support management for public and private land development projects, including schedule, budget, communication with the client, and overall project design, under the supervision of the Project Manager. Monitor the performance of junior staff in staying within scope and budget. Oversee overall project budget for managed projects. Direct and oversee CAD and design work of junior staff. Assist in the preparation of task budgets within a proposal, under the direction of a Project Manager. Prepare the report and direct the activities of junior staff in gathering data.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee CAD and design work of junior staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of task budgets within a proposal.
  • Prepare reports and direct junior staff in data gathering activities.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D.
  • Experience in land development and site development.
  • Knowledge in stormwater management.
  • Professional engineering skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of work experience.
  • Active California PE license strongly preferred.
  • Current knowledge of professional codes, laws, and trends.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, or planning firm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $98612.00 - $111654.00/yr.
