Superintendent
Job Description

The Superintendent will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to oversee contracts, schedule layouts, coordinate with supervisors, and manage project paperwork. This role involves facilitating necessary information for project superintendents, sending RFI's to architects, and handling paperwork aspects of the project. The Superintendent will also participate in estimating and budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Project Manager to oversee contracts and schedule layouts.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and process changeovers.
  • Facilitate information needed for project superintendents.
  • Send RFI's to architects and manage all paperwork aspects of the project.
  • Participate in estimating and budgeting.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in commercial construction and as a superintendent.
  • Strong commercial experience with site work and site contractors.
  • Proficiency in project supervision and management.
  • Familiarity with construction software, specifically Buildertrend.
  • Knowledge of change orders and supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of experience in commercial or residential construction.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a superintendent.
  • Estimating experience is a plus but not required.
Work Environment

Work is conducted from Monday to Friday on commercial projects in Lexington and throughout Central Kentucky. Depending on candidate location, the position may be contract-based or contract-to-hire. Local candidates to Kentucky can work on various projects and will receive per diem and a vehicle for travel to Arlington, TN. If local to Arlington, the position is a 12-month contract.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $39.00/hr.
