Structural Engineer in Training

Freese and Nichols is currently searching for a Structural Engineer in Training . Responsibilities include assisting and/or leading efforts in the analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for various concurrent projects. Project types may include heavy civil projects such as dams, flood and retaining walls, water and wastewater treatment facilities, water transmission including aerial pipe crossings, routine and signature bridge designs as well as architectural projects such as low and mid-rise commercial, educational, and industrial buildings, and support of landscape architectural designs. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to work in a team as well as independently. Must have a proven ability to build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients, both internal and external.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registered EIT certification
  • 2+ years of structural design experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
