Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop drawings for new tools and equipment.
- Assist in updating and maintaining product drawings as needed.
- Organize and manage drawing files with accuracy and care.
- Ensure compliance with all NOV policies, including safety (HSE) and quality standards.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
- Take on other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Duties
Use AutoCAD and parametric modeling tools to create accurate technical drawings.
Support documentation and communication efforts using Microsoft Office.
Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Adapt to changing tasks and participate in cross-training to support team goals.
Communicate effectively, stay organized, and demonstrate sound judgment.
Meet physical requirements:
Sit long; occasionally stand, walk, kneel, or crouch.
Use hands to operate tools and equipment.
Maintain strong visual capabilities (close, color, depth perception, and focus).
Travel occasionally (less than 10%).
Education and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- 3+ years of drafting experience, or equivalent formal training in drafting/design.
- Technical skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD (required).
- Experience with parametric modeling (preferred).
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
- Strong foundational skills in math and technical writing.
- Ability to learn and follow detailed repair and assembly procedures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Pay Range:
- $21.84-37.58 per hour
